Description We're seeking a computer-proficient individual with a knack for supporting end users. To excel in this position, you should have excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to provide clear and precise technical instructions. Familiarity with remote troubleshooting techniques is a must.You will ensure provision of prompt and precise customer service to boost client satisfaction. Your role includes a commitment to being accessible round the clock via phone, text, and email with a readiness to maintain daily support for end-user devices.Principal Responsibilities: Address client queries about hardware, software and networking Guide customers through the installation of applications and computer peripherals providing simple, step-by-step instructions. Conduct remote troubleshooting and test alternate methods until finding a resolution Customize desktop applications to cater to user needs Log all technical issues and their solutions Escalate unresolved issues to the next support level Follow-up with clients ensuring their systems are functional and report any customer feedback or potential product requests Participate in creating technical documentation and manualsRequired Qualifications and Skills: Hands-on experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, IT Service Desk role, Technical Support Engineer or similar position is non-negotiable. Mastery in Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments and office automation products, including computer peripherals like printers and scanners. Comprehensive knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
