This leadership opportunity is located in Clearfield, UT.This position has significant leadership contact and requires a candidate with strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to perform in an environment of ambiguity and continuous change. Key Responsibilities include:

Lead a team of HR Business Partners supporting 1200 employees in the Aerospace Structures Business Unit within Aeronautics Systems' Operations organization

Support Operations leadership and act as a strategic partner and consultant to position the organization to meet long term vision and strategy

Focus on future functional Operations homeroom growth; strengthening and optimizing the Operations function will require business acumen, leadership engagement and high levels of emotional intelligence to meet both current and future needs

Implement change management practices to align the organization to established talent strategy

Establish strong business relationships with client leadership teams and create effective partnerships across HR, centers of excellence (COE's), business management, sector functions as well as operating divisions

Leadership Development-focus on succession planning and strategic leadership movement; partner with business leaders to build leadership depth to support the succession planning process

Play a key change leadership role in to ensure a culture of growth and innovation

Provide day-to-day people leadership of HR team and create an environment that accelerates development of HR talent; apply rigorous knowledge management to capture learning, drive continuous improvement, and enhance employee engagement

Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop solutions in partnership with HR business partners, division and matrix leadership, and program/division HR business leaders

Utilize data and analytics to develop solutions to current business issues as well as proactively engage in risk mitigation; provide business insight through data analysis, research, and benchmarking

Recommend and implement winning practices employed in the areas of talent acquisition, assessment, development, compensation, organizational effectiveness, strategy, on-boarding, change management and communications

Analyze and concisely present information to the management team to enable good business decisions

Leverage and partner with HR colleagues across other functional disciplines, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity and inclusion and organizational effectiveness to support talent strategies

Must have a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional experience to include a background in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, or Talent Management

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Psychology, Management, or related field

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to establish strong rapport and credibility as a forward-looking thought leader

Proven ability to influence impact and outcomes at all levels across the business and ability to develop an internal network to gain support for HR best practices

Ability to navigate cultural and business sensitivities to champion diversity and inclusion, performance, and employee engagement

Experience with organizational transformation and change management

Experience working with a matrix or homeroom environment

Experience working with manufacturing trades / disciplines

Current/active DoD Secret clearance

Salary Range: $108,400 - $162,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
