Zions is seeking an Integration Engineer Zions is recruiting for the position of

Integration Engineer on the Customer Data Engineering & Support team. The Customer Data Engineering & Support team creates value for the enterprise by delivering enterprise data and integration services that provide data, functionality, and processes from legacy and modern systems for others to consume. We expose diverse systems and business capabilities in a standardized way.

Integration Platform Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develop APIs to meet the organization’s needs for customer data.
  • Work on a cross-functional agile SCRUM team to deliver customer master data management capabilities to the organization.
  • Works closely with the API Solutions Architect and ACE development and support staff, as a major contributor to the success of the system.
  • Assist in developing user documentation, specifications, and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of APIs, Swagger, WSDL, and XSD.
  • Automate and set up build pipelines and deployments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or related field, and a minimum of 4 years’ experience administering and developing customization of platforms, or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
  • Experience with development of APIs/webservices on ESB and API management platforms. IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and Apigee Edge platforms a plus
  • Working knowledge of REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, Python, Java, JavaScript, XSLT, API security policies (OAuth, JWT, JWE, and HMAC), and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices and programming languages. Familiarity with Java, SQL, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, build/deploy automation, Git, Azure DevOps and Digital.ai Release / Digital.ai Deploy preferred. Experience with containers is a plus.
  • Requires strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Requires solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
  • Ability to elicit, gather and analyze user and business requirements.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements and circumstances.

Location This position will be located at our brand new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. (We have a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home) The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
