DPP is seeking a

Senior Java Developer with experience working in the

Vaadin environment for a project in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is an extended assignment for local candidates only.

Job description:
  • Full-stack development in Java 1.8 or higher with programming experience using Vaadin open-source technologies, Spring and Hibernate models
  • Requires a high level of self-direction, professional communications ability, and discipline to fit into a high-performing team.
  • This is a 40-hour/week position, working on the eREP team.
  • The eREP (Electronic Resource Eligibility Product) is a browser-based interface to the application written in Java using JBoss, Oracle, MongoDB, Spring, Hibernate, Drools, Vaadin, and other technologies.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus!

Requirements:
  • Java 1.8 or higher programming experience; full stack desired with consideration for Amazon Web Services experience
  • Experience with all of the following:
    • Spring, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
    • Vaadin
    • PWA experience
    • Rest API
  • Experience with some or all of the following:
    • Writing SOAP and RESTful web services
    • JBoss
    • Drools
  • AWS certifications may receive preference
  • Must interview and work onsite in Salt Lake City
