Job SummaryResponsible for the local administration of the company's Process Quality (PQ) program. Hires, supervises and trains plant PQ Supervisors, Coordinators, and Technicians. Develops and implements Quality process controls and procedures both locally and across the manufacturing network; works with sales, marketing, outside vendors, and customers on a supportive/consultative basis; works with corporate staff departments on product development, new technology development/testing and new client product development; works with Process Quality Champion and/or Director. Champion of PQ for their location works with all plant team members to standardize processes and procedures across the manufacturing network. Assist the Marketing Process in the planning and deployment of new product implementation.Key Duties & Responsibilities Hires, supervises and trains plant Process Quality (PQ) team members.Answers questions/solve problems for sales, clients, customers and other manufacturing locations. Prepares and issues correspondence and reports to sales, clients, customers, other processes and to the field as needed. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of plant and process performance. Prepares and presents formal presentations to employees, sales and clients as required.Lead and/or participate in key company projects or initiatives.Defines and implements process controls.Takes necessary measures to develop teamwork, ensure open lines of communication and encourage a consistent flow of ideas and best practices between plants.
