The Business Analyst (BA) team within Northrop Grumman's Chief Information Office is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst 3 or Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst 4. This position will be in Clearfield, Utah and may require occasional travel to any major Northrop Grumman site. There is no ability for a full-time telecommuting arrangement in this role.The BA team bridges the gap between the business side of operations (day-to-day system users) and the application development teams. The team also manages the Aeronautics Sector's Project Management Office's current and future portfolio of IT projects which includes budgets, schedules, and risk management.The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate technical principles, theories, and concepts as well as develop innovative solutions to technical issues. The candidate must demonstrate customer support skills, be able to work collaboratively in cross functional team settings and be able to complete assignments with minimal management supervision. The role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to learn new computer applications. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Primary Responsibilities:- Coalesce, analyze and document user requirements and/or problems to improve existing systems
- Collaborate with business partners to develop solutions and correct system deficiencies
- Develop system specifications that address business requirements aligned with system architectures
- Test solutions to ensure optimal system functionality
- Monitor integrated system interfaces for errors and resolve as necessary
- Draft & publish instructional materials and provide system training to end users
- Represent the organization in providing solutions to complex system issues
- Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects
- Work with process owners to ensure optimal system interactions and develop improvements
- May also have the opportunity for a Project Management role on IT projects
- Bachelor of Science in STEM related field with five (5) years of related and relevant experience, OR a master's with three (3) years of relate experience, OR zero (0) years with PhD.
- Experience executing in SAP and MES (or other ERP systems)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience interacting and supporting manufacturing, quality, or supply chain business process
- US Citizenship is required for this role, as well as an active or current DoD Secret clearance
- 9 years with bachelor's degree, or 7 years with Master's degree or 4 years with PhD. 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree
- Current Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, or similar certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
- US citizenship is required for this role, as well as an active or current DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed
- Experience with Windows and Linux server/workstation
- Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related Technical Degree
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry or working on Defense Acquisition programs
- Understanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations, and interface requirements
- Subject Matter Expertise in manufacturing, MRP, quality, or supply chain business processes
- Working knowledge of Siemens PLM Teamcenter Application Admin role
- Experience with CPLM upgrades, server maintenance, and end user support
- Experience working on teams using an Agile framework (e.g., scrum, Kanban)
- Active DoD Secret, TS/SSBI or SCI clearance
