KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Promote Safety First in all Molding areas, equipment, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensue Master Molder I Trainer / Resource.
  • Client customer / ILC Dover Molded component Support as Client SLC Thermoplastic Molding SME.
  • Support Client Quote Manager (Cost and NRE Input for all Tooling Related Quotes).
  • Support Client Finance (Tracking of POs & Invoicing as Soon as Possible).
  • Tooling (Mold) Design Approval (NPI & Production).
  • Tooling Vendor Management / Support.
  • Mold Equipment Vendor Management / Support.
  • Support and oversee Molding Process Development, Validation and Optimization.
  • Support Molding Related Cost Improvements Projects (CIP).
  • Resource for Molding Process Transfers to other facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Four-year degree in a technical field (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Ten years of molding experience in the Medical Device Industry preferred.
  • Master Molder 1 Certification.
  • Excellent written communication and computer skills.
  • Sound understating of molding process validation and associated theory / tools.
  • Sound understanding mold tooling Design for Manufacture (DFM).
  • Project Management (PM) experience.
