The Technical Project Manager with solid experience in cross functional team initiatives to support the Technology Portfolio and subsequent ARTs. Key areas of responsibility will involve managing technology projects (both waterfall and agile) while also leading technology teams on their transformation to an Agile operating model. A good understanding of technology infrastructure, project management, and the Agile framework are critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the management, overall coordination and status reporting of technical projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies and lead teams through the PI planning process
  • Develop project plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Complete all required project documentation to stay in compliance with the PMO governance and standards
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Work with clients to understand and translate their needs into IT system requirements and solutions.
  • Builds business cases to support recommended solutions.
  • Directs and monitors work efforts, identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews and escalates issues appropriately.
  • Responsible for tracking costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
  • Coordinates communication that may impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of project.
  • Stays abreast of current and emerging information technology.
  • Work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure successful and a quality project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and manage collaborative efforts with shared resources.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree and 6+ years’ experience in technology project management processes, methodologies and tools, implementing various platform environments, and Networks, Firewalls, mainframe and midrange systems or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Scrum Master certification (SSM, SASM, CSM, or PSM I)
  • Working knowledge of technical project management methodologies, processes, tools and implementation of various platform environments.
  • Knowledge of scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management.
  • Strong Experience with Risk management and Stakeholder management
  • Experience in solution identification, assessment and creation of business and financial cases.
  • Strong meeting facilitation capabilities
  • Must have solid leadership, motivational, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and ADO.
