Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding.A Salesforce Architect will work with Product and Engineering to shape how value streams become digital products. They will shape the boundaries of products/systems and where engineering efforts should be focused within a value stream. They will help shape our Salesforce solutions and integrations and how they fit into the overall business. Responsibilities- Design healthy, embedded Salesforce applications and train teams in best practices
- Provide expertise on when to use Salesforce vs other technologies and integrate using architectural best practices
- Contribute to and help maintain enterprise application architecture standards, guidelines and best practices
- Research emerging technologies and software development paradigms to establish new standards and evolve existing standards
- Ensure all designs comply with architecture standards and guidelines and meet the necessary governance and compliance requirements
- Ensure the success and growth of the team by mentoring, collaborating with, and coaching peers
- Constantly seek opportunities to improve the way we collaborate, actively seek ways to improve processes, and welcome feedback and respond in a positive way
- Ensure deliverables across engineering teams are of high quality and are clearly documented
- Collaboratively design solutions to streamline delivery, improve quality and reduce costs of support for our applications
- Help align priorities of product portfolio to the feasibility of technical outcomes
- Manage the collaboration of emergent standards and RFCs/Standards for the software development lifecycle
- Experience designing enterprise solutions, including integrations, around Salesforce
- Experience with Salesforce technologies such as Lightning, Apex, Trigger design, SalesforceDX, Flow, and API integrations
- Some data architecture experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Github Actions and ArgoCD
- Experience designing enterprise solutions in cloud computing environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
- History in developing using Java or JavaScript and frameworks such as Hibernate, Express, Spring, React.js, Vue.js
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven design
- Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff; ability to articulate business issues/concerns with staff, peers, superiors, and outside parties
- Experience working in an agile software development environment, including close collaboration with Product
- 5+ years developing software
- 3+ years in senior software engineering roles or similar
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Experience with Kubernetes and other related technology such as Helm and Istio
