Kforce has a client in Lehi, UT that is seeking a Senior QA Tester.Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure software releases' quality, aligning with business requirements and technical specifications
Write detailed test cases using XRAYs or similar tools for effective software functionality validation and defect identification
Create comprehensive release notes, testing reports, test cases, and plans for transparent communication and knowledge sharing within the team
Identify opportunities for test automation, working towards automating test cases to enhance efficiency and maintainability
Implement strategies to boost QA velocity by optimizing testing processes, tools, and collaboration with developers and stakeholders
Effectively communicate with business users and team members to understand requirements, report issues, and collaborate on solutions
Continuously evaluate and contribute to enhancing QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
Experience in Payment Gateway integration testing, with a strong grasp of payment processing intricacies, security protocols, and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS
Prior testing involvement in migration projects, particularly within payment gateways or financial systems
Understanding of protocols like HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and payment APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP)
Proficient in API testing methodologies, including validating functionality, performance, and security aspects of RESTful and SOAP-based APIs
Proficiency in conducting regression testing for .NET services upgrades to identify and mitigate potential compatibility issues with existing applications
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in testing processes, especially in critical environments like payment processing
Ability to independently collaborate with various stakeholders, including Business owners and Development teams, to prepare detailed test cases
Strong analytical skills to evaluate changes' impact on the ecosystem and anticipate potential risks or challenges
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
