Job Description:No Summary AvailableJob EssentialsService Line Director is a senior management role within the Medical Group that reports directly to the VP, Medical Group Operations. The Service Line Director partners with the Senior Medical Director of one or more Service Lines within the Medical Group to develop strategy, set operational standards and clinical protocols, propose strategic provider staffing needs, and support the financial performance of the Service Line(s) to which they are assigned.Develops multi-year Service Line strategy and collaborates with market and practice leadership to ensure successful execution of strategy within operations.Proposes service-line specific operational standards (e.g. expected productivity, shifts, panel size, etc.) and supports Market and practice leaders in deploying the standards. Attends Operations Committee and other coordination meetings of the Medical Group.Develops protocols and tracks key indicators of performance within the Service Line in areas including but not limited to (safety, quality, affordability, and experience).Responsible for physician, APP, and caregiver engagement within Service Line.Recommends and supports the implementation of service-line specific huddle board standards within the Intermountain Operating Model.Tracks and manages Service Line performance. Collaborates with market leaders to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.Implements consistent measurement and communication for performance criteria (including Value Recognition Program) as part of physician and APP compensation plans.Accountable to financial performance of Service Line.While the Service Line Director does not have direct reports, they have a matrixed leadership relationship with the practice managers overseeing the departments within the Service Line. Oversees one or many Service Lines adding up to between 150-300 providers in total.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree, obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.Five years of experience in a progressively responsible leadership position within the healthcare industry.and -

Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.and -

Expertise in project planning and leading teams.and -

Experience in process improvement.and -

Demonstrated ability to facilitate interdisciplinary teams and to develop effective relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.and -

Demonstrated ability to work independently.and -

Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.Preferred QualificationsMBAand -

MHAFive years' experience as an Operations Officer within the healthcare industry.and -

Three years of experience with financial modeling.and -

Project Management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.and -

Leadership experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system or hospital environment.and -

Leadership experience in a large multi-specialty medical group.and -

Experience in sales.and -

Experience in marketing and brand enhancement.and -
