PURPOSE AND SCOPE:Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Focuses on enterprise application implementation and continual updates of cycles with a specific focus on enterprise level applications.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defines project objectives and oversees quality control throughout project life cycle.

Plans, executes, and finalizes projects while being sensitive to deadlines and budgets.

Coordinates the completion of project tasks and assists in overcoming obstacles to ensure the successful delivery of software while meeting time and budget commitments.

Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

Confers with stakeholders to provide technical advice and resolve problems.

Keen ability to understand business rules and requirements surrounding a software project and catalog those requirements to ensure all get met.

General understanding of all network layers and technologies in order to coordinate network implementation requirements and assist in troubleshooting network related issues in production of enterprise apps.

Thorough understanding of all facets of designated systems including, data interfaces, user interfaces, reporting, modeling, and all other customization points within these systems.

Works with management and stakeholders in the design, development and integration of enterprise software applications to maintain alignment with the strategic goals of GMO.

Assists in the development and implementation of standards and procedures for project management, development, reporting and documentation in the Software Services group.

Maintains current with changing trends, technologies, and regulatory matters that may impact future project management opportunities.

System expert across GMO, in overall system functionality and design for designated applications

Builds productive working relationships.

May provide assistance to junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.

May refer to senior level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.

Escalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.

Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, business or related fields requiredEXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

2 – 5 years’ related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.

Knowledge and demonstrable experience in large scale software development or integration and implementation.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.

Able to do reasonably advanced math and understand logical structures.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Able to analyze and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex issues that may arise.

Able to support and work in a fast paced team environment.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Must have a working knowledge of database design, development and administration.

Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to enforce best practices.

Thorough understanding of project management methodologies so as to enforce best practices.

Experience with LAN, WAN, and Internet networking topologies, technologies, and challenges.
