A Senior Financial Services Consultant is responsible for a full range of activities on small to mid-size projects to assisting on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions, including: Facilitating the definition and documentation of business function and systems process requirements, and ensuring functional and technology solutions enhance and support the client s business operations. Developing of clear, concise process documents, which require proficiency in interviewing skills, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, etc. Identifying functional and technology alternatives and recommending to both client and ABeam project managers solutions for business and technical issues, as well as identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Participating in all phases of the systems development life cycle from project scoping, planning and requirements definition to issues resolution, test planning and scenario creation, training and implementation.
Requirements: Working knowledge and experience in financial services. 4-5 years of Financial Services operational and/or consulting project experience in one or more of the following domain areas: o Retail Banking and/or Credit Union operations o Commercial Banking operations o Deposit account origination and onboarding operations o Debit card operations o Credit card operations o Payment processing operations o Credit and Loan operations o KYC and AML operations o Regulatory compliance operations o Fintech operations o Trade Finance o Leasing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or Computer Science. Solid critical thinking skills. Strong organizational skills necessary to succeed in a dynamic environment. Able to maintain and leverage documentation and support to facilitate project team productivity. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Good time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) proficiency Must hold permanent U.S. residency or citizenship.
