Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr DevOps Security Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in Lehi, UT. This position is also open to Hybrid if local to offices in San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, Seattle, WA, Washington, DC, Portland, OR, New York, NY, Arden Hills, MN, Los Angeles, LA, Lehi, UT, Emeryville, CA, Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, College Park, MD, Boston, MA, Austin, TX. w2 only - no c2c/no agencies Responsibilities :
- Work with multiple teams to design, deploy, and support large scale clustered software platforms in multiple datacenters and public clouds around the world
- Deliver highly secure and efficient solutions within comprehensive compliance regulations (including FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
- Integrate diverse technologies in multiple environments to provide monitoring, alerting, and reporting of performance and costs
- Work in an agile operations framework, balancing sprint-based work with daily operational needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve system outages or performance impact and communicate findings for ongoing improvement
- Work with third-party hardware and software vendors to recommend solutions and drive performance/cost efficiency
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- Experience in public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- 3-5 years of python development experience
- Experience operating secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault preferred)
- Experience using orchestration, automation and configuration management solutions (Jenkins/Terraform/SaltStack/Rundeck preferred)
- Experience deploying a modern monitoring stack (PrometheGrafana preferred)
- Experience maintaining DNS infrastructure (bind preferred)
- Ability to recommend, design, build, and support complicated solutions at scale
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and related technologies
- Knowledge of software version control systems and release management (Git preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Security Groups and Policies, API Gateways, and Security Governance on AWS/Azure
- EDR - Endpoint Detection & Response (Crowdstrike/SentinelOne/Palo Alto)
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience with Linux, including large scale OS deployment and automation
