Your insights will influence actions taken by Financial Institution managers and executives, both proactively and in real-time problem-solving situations, within broad-scale operation programs.A Senior Financial Services PMO provides functional and technical analysis to clients and acts as a liaison between client technical and business user groups. The focus of this position is to work closely with the client business unit personnel to gain an in-depth understanding of their operations, processes, services, and the context in which the business operates.This position is responsible for a full range of activities on small to mid-size projects to assisting on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions, including: Facilitating the definition and documentation of business function and systems process requirements, and ensuring functional and technology solutions enhance and support the client s business operations. Developing of clear, concise process documents, which require proficiency in interviewing skills, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, etc. Identifying functional and technology alternatives and recommending to both client and project managers solutions for business and technical issues, as well as identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Participating in all phases of the systems development life cycle from project scoping, planning and requirements definition to issues resolution, test planning and scenario creation, training and implementation.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: STRONG working knowledge and experience in FINANCIAL SERVICES 10+ years of Financial Services operational and/or consulting project experience in one or more of the following domain areas:- Start-up of Retail Banking and/or Credit Union operations- Commercial Banking operations- Deposit account origination and onboarding operations- Debit card operations- Credit card operations- Payment processing operations- Credit and Loan operations- KYC and AML operations- Regulatory compliance operations- Fintech operations- Trade Finance- Leasing Able to maintain and leverage documentation and support to facilitate project team productivity. Possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) proficiency Must hold permanent U.S. residency or citizenship. Ability to travel as needed to client location amount of travel varies depending on client project requirements.
