Overview /Summary: The Sr. Manager of Technical Sales is responsible for managing and growing the team that secures new business. This is a client-facing role but also requires working with our client's sales solutions, account management, implementation teams, and finance to drive transactions from the initial lead phase through contracting, finance, and closing.Job Title: Director/Manager of SalesDepartment: SalesReports To: PresidentFLSA Status: ExemptEssential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned• Manage the sales executives to successful sales outcomes, supporting strategy, sales process, contracting and deal development, and client relationship management.• Lead the team to achieve sales and revenue goals• Cultivate and grow the talent on the sales team, via a robust learning and development program for new hires and existing team• Inherit, improve, and manage sales performance tracking and forecasting• Ensure ongoing pipeline of opportunities• Collaborate with internal teams to improve cross team processes• Lead and coordinate development of creative or unique solutions – thinking beyond what we have always done, creating a vision of what could be, driving through hurdles, leading teams to develop unique solutions.Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.- Visionary Leadership – Acts in accordance with company vision and communicates vision and gains commitment. - 7+ years in sales leadership role in addition to experience 5+ years as a sales executive.
