The Senior Release Manager will oversee the release management process for a dedicated product vertical, ensuring on-time delivery while aligning with organizational goals and exceeding customer expectations.Primary Responsibilities:

Work in a highly collaborative and autonomous environment to manage and oversee all aspects of the release process for a specific product vertical.

Coordinate the scheduling and communication of planned releases, ensuring alignment and transparency with all stakeholders.

Track and manage all release components using designated tools to maintain comprehensive oversight and accountability.

Ensure builds are correctly deployed to appropriate environments, verifying readiness and accuracy in deployment processes.

Monitor key release metrics to ensure adherence to established procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Conduct release readiness reviews before deployment and post-release assessments to evaluate success and identify improvement areas.

Maintain detailed documentation of release plans, dependencies, and outcomes to foster transparency and collaboration.

Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Program, Engineering, and Quality, to align release strategies and resolve challenges.

Standardize and streamline release practices across teams to reduce complexity and enhance operational efficiency.

Address and mitigate risks to ensure smooth and predictable releases.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

Proven experience in release management, program/project management, or software quality roles.

Strong knowledge of release processes, including scheduling, tracking, and managing dependencies.

Proficiency with release management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms).

Familiarity with source control systems and branching strategies.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation to ensure stability during releases.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving efficiency and quality.

Effective communicator, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Experience working in cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration across departments.

Knowledge of agile development methodologies and iterative release cycles.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education:

Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware, or cloud-based software releases.

Experience in handling large-scale and complex software ecosystems.

Passion for continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
