Job Title: Sr. Supervisor, Quality Management Job Code: 15724 Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: Weekend shift, (schedule: Fri-Sun; 3 x 12’s; 36 hrs)- 20% shift differential pay Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervisor for our Quality Management team. The successful candidate will lead a group of inspectors and quality professionals in conducting thorough inspections and audits of purchased parts and units. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications, and lists to ensure the approval or rejection of units is based on solid criteria. The Senior Supervisor will ensure that all support documentation is accurately maintained, and that performance data is reviewed consistently. Essential Functions:

Lead and supervise a diverse team of quality professionals and inspectors across various areas of operation.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to clarify and enforce quality policies, practices, and procedures.

Develop and refine inspection methods and procedures, ensuring that in-process and finished products adhere to company and customer standards.

Oversee product and documentation validation for compliance with all applicable requirements, preparing items for customer acceptance and delivery.

Plan and set operational objectives for the team, implementing basic management strategies such as work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution.

Collaborate with peers and contribute to business objectives, ensuring inspections align with L3Harris Workmanship Standards, engineering requirements, and customer specifications.

Manage control of non-conforming products and maintain accurate records.

Analyze processes and problems, developing recommendations to meet customer and internal project requirements.

Utilize expertise or identify subject matter experts to support multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data analysis, infrastructure support, and procedural compliance.

Identify issues and provide clear solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.

Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ associate’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

+2 years proven management skills including work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.

+2 years hands-on experience with inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, height gauges, scales, etc.

+2 years of working knowledge and understanding of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.

Experience with electronics workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.

Background in Aerospace manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, and electronic assemblies.

Familiarity with Project Management, Lean tools, and Six Sigma principles.

Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and workload balancing skills.

Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of interfacing effectively across the organization
