Caregiver for Young Adult with Mental Health Challenges

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable live-in aide to support a young adult managing mental health challenges. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, a good listener, and committed to creating a supportive and stable environment. The individual will need evening and weekend availability for in-person support or phone check-ins.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing companionship and emotional support

Assisting with daily routines as needed (light reminders, healthy habits)

Being available for phone check-ins or in-person conversation/support

Supporting a calm, respectful, and safe living environment

Noticing and communicating any concerning behaviors or mood changes

Qualifications:

Background in mental health, caregiving, or peer support is helpful but not required

Strong communication and listening skills

Non-judgmental, patient, and dependable

Must be 21+ with references and the ability to pass a background check

Respect for privacy and a commitment to confidentiality

Strong emotional intelligence

Living Arrangements:

Private room provided in a shared home with access to common areas. Room included in addition to the monthly stipend.
