LOCATION 1830 Route 130 North Burlington NJ US 08016 Overview If you want an exciting job with one of the largest off-price retail stores in the nation, join the Burlington Stores, Inc. team as a Finance Business Support Analyst – Store Payroll!Primarily responsible for leveraging existing and creating updated key payroll metric data to support improved sales and store payroll expense performance. Some of the other key responsibilities are analysis of data, identifying process improvements, providing recommendations for specific actions. In addition, responsible for communicating forecast changes to Finance and Store Operations.Duties and Responsibilities: BUDGETINGConduct payroll budget analytics by store to refine based on trends and opportunities
Assist in managing requests and inquiries from store and field partners
EXPENSE MANAGEMENT – PAYROLLProduce robust, easy to understand payroll reporting to help stores and Field manage budgeted staffing to drive sales
Partner with store initiatives team to ensure new store budgets encompass special projects
Track and document any wage impacts to new stores
Liaison between Finance and Store Operations Teams
STRATEGIC AND AD-HOC ANALYSISConduct ad-hoc analyses to support executive request. Past examples include
Analysis of sales trends and recommendations for store specific adjustments during quarterly Sales Plan revisions
ROI Analyses on investments/special projects involving payroll support
Regional market analyses, support of other key initiatives (e.g., big stores, weekend business focus, etc.)
Identify efficiencies through simplification of reporting, automation of data pulls or elimination of legacy reports no longer useful
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Preferred experience in retail with a focus on strong analytics and problem solving Skills and Abilities:Strong written and vendor communication skills with relationship building
Strong, practical knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting
Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
Ability to utilize other internal tracking mechanisms
