Project manager/lead carpenter

B.L. Builders is a small homebuilding and remodeling company based in central Vermont. We are looking for lead carpenters and project managers as we take on more builds in the coming years. We work predominantly in the Montpelier area, but occasionally travel to Stowe or the Mad River Valley.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Overseeing and working side by side with one or more carpenters

Print reading

Material ordering

Limited client interface

Subcontractor management

Overseeing jobsite safety

This is a W2 position, but we would consider working on a subcontractor basis with the right person.

Compensation is as follows:

Lead carpenter: $32-$36/hr

Project manager: $38-$45/hr

Pay based on both experience, and the tools you bring to the job.

10 days PTO a year

$250/year boot allowance

$250/year tool allowance
