Located in a beautifully restored historic mill overlooking the Winooski River, Waterworks Food + Drink is a full-service restaurant and event space known for our commitment to quality ingredients, thoughtful cocktails and warm, attentive hospitality. Our team is passionate about creating memorable experiences, whether it’s a casual dinner, a special celebration, or a private event.

The Role:

This dual position blends front-line service with leadership responsibilities. You’ll spend part of your time serving guests and the rest assisting with day-to-day management duties—such as supervising floor operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring a smooth and efficient shift.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide outstanding service as a server, engaging guests with knowledge, warmth, and efficiency

-Lead by example during shifts, supporting staff and upholding our hospitality standards

-Help manage the floor during busy service periods and special events

-Assist with opening and closing duties, staff training, and daily operations

-Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain flow and service standards

What We’re Looking For:

-At least 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant

-Previous experience in a supervisory or shift lead role preferred

-Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first approach

-Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

-A genuine passion for food, beverage, and guest experience
