Description We are in need of a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Clerk for our operations in Glen Allen, Virginia, 23060, United States. The role focuses on credit processing, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. This position is part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect delinquent payments. Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Maintenance of precise customer credit records Prompt resolution of customer credit inquiries Monitoring of customer credit accounts Perform actions necessary to collect delinquent payments Process daily commission deposits and mail deposits Enter commissions into designated accounting systems Associate commissions to deposits and check requests Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks. Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Familiarity with billing procedures Proficient in data entry tasks Experience in invoice processing Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle business software Experience with QuickBooks accounting software Knowledge of SAP software Open to candidates with zero or more years of experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred but not mandatory Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Proven integrity in dealing with sensitive financial information.
