Accounting Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. The role primarily involves managing customer-related data, handling billing inquiries, and maintaining financial records. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Accurately process invoices and update the billing system Manage data entry tasks with precision and efficiency Respond to and resolve customer billing inquiries Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit Conduct clerical filing tasks to keep documents organized Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Answer and direct phone calls as necessary Sort and distribute incoming mail accurately and promptly. Requirements Possess proficiency in Billing, capable of accurately managing and documenting all transactions. Demonstrated ability in Data Entry, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and updated. Proficient in Invoice Processing, able to handle and oversee the processing of invoices efficiently. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, capable of managing and manipulating data as required. Experience in Filing, able to maintain a well-organized and up-to-date filing system.
