Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to work in Purcellville, Virginia. As an integral member of our team, you will be engaged in tasks such as full cycle AP processing, reconciliations, check runs, and journal entries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities Carry out full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Conduct account reconciliations to keep records up-to-date and accurate. Perform bank account and cash reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Execute check runs to maintain timely and accurate payments. Prepare and post journal entries to keep financial records updated. Utilize your skills in accounting functions to contribute to the team's efficiency. Ensure all financial data is correctly entered and processed in the Vista Viewpoint software. Requirements Demonstrable proficiency in Accounting Functions. Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP). Ability to perform Account Reconciliation effectively. Experience in Bank Reconciliations. Skilled in Bank Account Reconciliation. Proficiency in Cash Reconciliations. Ability to handle Check Runs. Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries.
