Job Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a goal-oriented self-starter who can multitask with exceptional organizational skills to work on a high-profile government contract as a SETA Lead.

As a SETA role, the client's expectations are that the ideal candidate will handle a wide array of activities, is results oriented, can manage in a fast paced/high-energy environment, can work independently yet coordinate when necessary, and keep the client abreast of activities that require input, decision, or participation.

To be successful in this position you must have experience with government acquisitions and finance, writing issue papers and white papers, procurement, and vendor management, as well as experience with Knowledge Management and Governance. Experience with procurements includes acquisition life cycle of hardware and software licensing, IT procurement and vendor management are desired.

This includes budgeting, managing funds, invoicing, creating recommendations, analyzing services, crafting procedures, documentation, and communications both internal and external to the organization. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with creating and implementing governance and support the Government staff in developing a broad range of written products in support to the project, assist Government staff in preparation of packages and documents for meetings, create talking points, posture papers, and memorandums for senior-level meetings, maintain situational awareness of a variety of issues and related intelligence challenges, providing written or verbal responses to policy maker request, and assist in tracking tasks. This role requires the ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the project.

Required Skills:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance• 5 or more years' experience working with DoD acquisitions and financial management• 3 or more years' experience working with the DoD procurement process• 5 or more years supervisory experience• 4 or more years SETA experience• At least 6 years of experience in support of government acquisition assisting with the development of the documents • Demonstrated knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPB&E) process and have taken the DoD available training within the past 5 years

Education Requirement:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

Desired Skills:

• Must be able to provide written examples of either DoD funding documents (i.e., UFR justifications), issue papers, or white papers• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Must be able to provide examples of written correspondence • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic work environment and ability to coordinate and perform multiple assignments• Demonstrated capability to work both independently and under the direction of experienced analysts

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
