Our work depends on Secret cleared Acquisition Specialist joining our team to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer in Alexandria, VA.HOW AN ACQUISITION SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACTPosition Description :You will support our customer and our team to acquire goods, property, services, and other resources as required. The candidate will develop and implement the company's acquisition guidelines and strategies. You will analyze and update acquisition plans, procedures, and policies to mitigate risks and improve program efficiencies. The candidate will review the results of procurement efforts and identify where resources are needed. You may participate in the evaluation of vendor proposals and contracts (NOT government contracts), advising the procurement team on selection for material and resource acquisition strategies. The candidate will support compilation of cost data to accurately estimate and define a financial budget. You may review received Requests for Proposal (RFP) and other solicitation documents from the government.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:If you have what it takes and can demonstrate these in a possible technical interview, please apply. Education: Bachelors Degree

Work Experience: 11 years + Certifications Preferred: DAU CAC2 002 Acquisition Professional Team Members Credential

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
