Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking an experienced Deployment & Training Lead who can assist our team in predeployment and deployment/fielding of the new Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) for the US Army. ACWS is in Agile development with initial deployment of a minimum viable solution beginning later in 2023.

ACWS is in the pre-deployment stage. Once deployed/fielded, ACWS will enable the retirement of older legacy contract writing systems, including the Standard Procurement System and Procurement Automated Data and Document System (PADDS).

Serves as Deployment & Training Lead supporting the Government PM on all aspects of planning for, coordinating, and executing deployment of a Defense Business System to over 10,000 users in 375 locations worldwide. Agile experience necessary in leading and performing deployment and training planning, training material development, site coordination, pre-deployment preparation activities, and managing training delivery teams to successfully prepare organizations and individuals for ACWS fielding. Majority of the deployment / fielding is forecasted to be virtual. Some travel potential, to be shared among the deployment team (projected to be 4 personnel)

Responsibilities

Job Requirements & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below, as outlined in the contract statement of work:

Candidate should possess thorough understanding of planning for and executing fielding/deployment activities, training material development and delivery, customer interaction, and project management using Agile. Previous experience with Defense Business System deployment and demonstrated leadership ability preferred. Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications. Must be able to manage multiple tasks/priorities concurrently. Ability to produce reports utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain flexible work hours (work hours are consistent but occasional ad hoc requirements may necessitate flexible hours - Comp Time available)
  • Develop deployment plans consisting of multiple site deployments concurrently
  • Ensure pre-deployment activities are conducted on schedule and to acceptable quality levels
  • Monitor and audit user training materials and classes
  • Coordinate with receiving locations to ensure pre-deployment and training activities are scheduled and conducted
  • Coordinate with Program Management Office and System Integrator personnel to ensure resources are planned and available for scheduled events
  • Integrate and coordinate activities between receiving locations, deployment prep, and training teams
  • Prepare briefing materials for and brief senior Army leaders on deployment plans and progress
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Security Clearance - Secret
  • PMP preferred
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; 10+ years of deployment experience
  • Fielding/Deployment experience with Defense Business Systems preferred
  • Ability to produce reports/presentations in MS Excel and PowerPoint
