Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Franklin, Virginia, United States for an Administrative Assistant (HR) to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with handling various HR-related responsibilities, including assisting in recruitment, maintaining employee records, and handling HR inquiries. You will also be responsible for coordinating HR schedules, meetings, and events, as well as performing general office duties.Responsibilities include: Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and arranging interviews Keeping employee records up to date and in compliance with company policies and regulations Preparing and distributing HR-related communications, including policy updates and employee handbooks Assisting in the organization of employee training sessions, workshops, and other HR initiatives Responding to incoming HR inquiries and providing support to employees regarding policies and procedures Coordinating and maintaining HR schedules, meetings, and events Processing employee benefits, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed Supporting employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive workplace environment Performing general office duties, such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Requirements Candidate must possess at least an Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field. Proficiency in Benefits Administration is necessary for the role. Strong Communication Skills are required to effectively interact with team members and other departments. Prior experience or knowledge in Customer Service is preferred. Familiarity with Filing systems and record keeping is essential. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Word for document creation and editing is necessary. Experience in Onboarding new employees will be an added advantage. Should have experience in Record Keeping for maintaining accurate employee data. Previous experience in Recruiting is preferred, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
