- Provide direct support to MARINE CORPS SYSTEMS COMMAND PM Competency Manager
- Provide PM Competency expertise
- Develop and maintain management systems for the PM Competency Manager
- Research, recommend, draft, and publish PM Community announcement content and PM Competency process improvements
- Facilitate all aspects of support to various high-level boards for the PM Competency; develop meeting agendas, briefs, attendee correspondence, utilize forms
- Facilitate all aspects of PM Competency personnel management, vacancy management, staffing, recruiting, selection processes, and all related reporting
- Support PM Training Sessions, Team Formation and Chartering Sessions, Team Facilitation Sessions
- Support Strategic Planning and Service-level Acquisition and Sustainment governance activities; research policy changes and recommend updates; analyst emergent law, regulation, and policy; recommend implementation plans of action and milestones for updates to existing policy. Facilitate strategic planning meetings (O6/GS-15 level).
- Support Organizational Management of Internal Controls by assessing and reporting on Command PM Competency internal processes for workflow completeness, appropriateness, and effectiveness; Create Visio workflows and document the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA); Create and recommend improvements to test plans
- Coordinate and participate in reviews of the MCSC Acquisition Portal, Fastlane Playbook, and The Online Program Information Center (TOPIC). Support change management, including Roadshows as required.
- Technical degree preferred. Level of experience, training, certifications can be suitable substitutes.
- Minimum of 8 years of DoD program management experience, Marine Corps specific experience is preferred.
- Training/Assessment IAW current DAWIA Core Certification Standards and Recommended Functional/Interdisciplinary Development for Advanced Program Management Practitioner. DAWIA Level 2 Program Management or PMI PMP Certification can substitute.
- Proficient in Adobe Pro and Microsoft Suite, including experience with Visio and SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge and understanding of the latest version of the Department of the Navy (DON) Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Operating Guide.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Marine Acquisition Officer Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and the Marine Corps Officer Career Progression.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Position requires a Secret clearance
