The position serves as a liaison between the analytics team and the divisions / functional organizations within GDIT, ensuring data integrity and alignment with overall business objectives.HOW A AIDM OPERATIONS DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Develop and lead an operations and business analysis practice aligned with organizational objectives
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business intelligence professionals who are geographically dispersed
Partner and collaborate with divisions and functional stakeholders (Growth, Finance, etc.) to identify opportunities for using analytics to influence business decisions and performance
Serve as the primary point of contact for data and analytics inquiries and needs from enterprise stakeholders
Build and enhance capabilities within the team through continuous development while fostering professional growth and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making
Ensure cross-functional collaboration to embed analytics into daily decision-making processes
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large datasets to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience
Create dashboards and reports that inform senior and executive level decision-making
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership on business trends, operational effectiveness, and performance metrics
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Business Intelligence tools and analytics platforms
Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through robust data governance practices (in partnership with applicable internal stakeholders)
Identify and implement new technologies & tools to improve analytics capabilities
Translate complex information into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure business performance
Prepare and provide presentations to the senior and executive leadership teams on business trends, risks, and opportunities
Identify and escalate any operational issues that could impact business objectives from being achieved
Manages and performs special projects and other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Required Experience: 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data science, or related fields
Security Clearance Level: None
Preferred Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing teams. Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools and data management platform. Strong knowledge of data warehousing, database systems, and data visualization techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

#GDITERGThe likely salary range for this position is $140,899 - $162,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.
