Meridian is looking for an Application Developer to join our team! This is a remote opportunity.The developer will maintain and support moderately complex web applications that are standardized or customized. This developer will also perform maintenance and testing activities for newly implemented and existing applications. The development environment consists of Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.Net, MVC and C#, HTML, JavaScript and SQL ServerResponsibilities:- Assist with technical requirements interpretation and design
- Work independently following precise requirements
- Assist with Level of Effort (LOE) for development effort for new functionality
- Develops, deploys, and maintains software programming applications and systems to design and functional specifications using ASP.net, C#, and HTML programming languages
- Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to project requirements
- Perform maintenance and testing activities for newly implemented and existing applications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve application problems
- Use established tools and procedures for software source control
- Participates in code and design reviews
- Experience working with customers (internal and external) to clearly and effectively communicate problems and potential solutions
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience web programming in a .NET environment using ASP.Net, C#, SQL/PL-SQL, SQL Server
- Exposure to Reporting applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal development teams
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality deliverables in a deadline-driven Production environment
- Third-party application integration / systems integration experience, demonstrated software development and knowledge of web application deployment
