About the Opportunity:

The Core Infrastructure Services team has an immediate opening for Assistant Vice President over the Operations Control & Reporting Group. This is a strategy and leadership role that oversees critical operations, Reporting to the Group Vice President for Core Infrastructure. This role is directly accountable for leading and driving change in our core operating environment, on-prem, hybrid and cloud with continuous automation of L1 and L2 processes across multiple legacy and cloud forward platforms. This role is also accountable for Enterprise Batch, Business Resumptive Testing, Threat Vulnerability Management, as well as overall accountable Event Management processes. This role is an exciting opportunity for a business-minded technologist to innovate, build, and integrate solutions for the business line. As a key contributor, they will provide broad perspective and thought leadership to develop and implement key strategies and critical business priorities at the System level.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop and lead in the implementation of large-scale Command Center Operation with 24 by 7 coverage across multiple physical and virtual sites.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders (CIOs, Reserve Bank presidents and other business and technology stakeholders) as well as objectives and key results for National IT Operational leaders
  • Anticipate changes in business environment and collaborate across the System
  • Serve as the face of National IT for all Batch, Business Resumptive Testing, Command Center and Automation Event handling business relationships
  • Synchronize the vision with Product Managers/Product Owners on the squads; lead the formulation of product Squads mission and goals
  • Identify and communicate acceptance criteria for functional requirements
  • Work with architects, engineers and product managers to design, deliver and implement roadmaps
  • Lead quarterly planning for the Group; prepare Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR)
  • Create an atmosphere of confidence, trust and team work.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of proven strategic execution in a mid to large scale enterprise
  • Experience supporting command centers with large technology and automation event monitoring environments
  • Possess the necessary technical skills and operational support acumen required to drive critical issues to resolution
  • Extensive experience in business, functional and people management, with proven abilities in taking responsibility for executing concurrently on a portfolio of high quality deliverables according to strict timetables
  • Working knowledge of technology and regulatory risk management and industry best practices
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
  • Ability to gather and interpret complex qualitative or quantitative data
  • Complete understanding of IT control policies
  • Business process improvement mindset with a drive for controls, automation and efficiency
  • Must exhibit sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information with inherent confidence
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to exceeding customer expectations
  • Strong personal work ethic that inspires excellence and enthusiasm amongst peer group
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Masters Preferred)
