S&P Global Market Intelligence – Operations: MI Strategic Programs TeamThe Role: Associate Director Program Lead, MI Strategic ProgramsThe Team: The MI Strategic Programs team is part of the Operations function with S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division. We lead and manage long-cycle commercial and operational programs in partnership with business and functional leaders, aligned to MI’s strategic priorities. Programs typically cross business lines, functions, or divisions; or otherwise have complexities that call for a more structured program management framework.The Impact: The Program Lead is focused on combining high quality execution ability, attention to detail, strong project management and communication skills, while building effective partnerships across the organization.This role is responsible for the successful planning and execution of business transformation initiatives to support the strategic priorities of the Market Intelligence division of S&P Global. The Program Lead will collaborate with business and functional leaders to drive significant and measurable change.What’s in it for you:

Responsibilities:

Participate and contribute to the business transformation strategy by prioritizing, resourcing, and leading one or more strategic initiatives. This role will engage directly with members of MI’s Senior Leadership Group as well as other leaders across the enterprise, so executive presence, and ability to navigate high-exposure and high-pressure situations is critical. Some other examples of past strategic initiatives are: Global Location Strategy, New Product Approval process, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Program, business intelligence tools and reporting implementations, and other customer, market-driven, regional, and operational programs

Align and manage strategic initiative according to our program governance framework.

Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects, including requirements gathering, identification and monitoring of key success factors and metrics, risk/issue management, dependencies and workflows, communications, plan development and maintenance, preparation of presentation materials.

Manages relationships, resolves conflicts, and facilitates and manages the political aspects of stakeholder management.

Develops business strategies, techniques, and tools to identify barriers to success and facilitate prevention strategies.

Operates as a first line of communication with junior team members.

Work independently and collaboratively, making appropriate project-related decisions with as-needed guidance from Group Leader

Proactively seek, document, and incorporate stakeholder and customer feedback

Recommend plan customizations, as appropriate, to best serve project needs

Work on sensitive projects or with sensitive data

What We’re Looking For:Basic Qualifications:

6-8 years of project/program management work experience

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams using standard tools (charter, project plan, RAID, RACI, process flow diagrams, communication plan, Standard Operating Procedures, change management plan, requirements assessment, control plan, meeting agendas and notes etc.)

Executive presence: ability to engage with and influence leadership

Ability to adjust style and content according to audience (e.g.e.g., level of detail, method of communication, etc.)

Ability to work in a collaborative environment and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization

Self-direction, proactive behaviors, and ability to thrive in a fluid working environment

Excellent written and verbal English communications skills

Advanced knowledge required: Using PowerPoint

Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Moderate kKnowledge of Visio, Excel, OneNote and Smartsheet

PMP or equivalent project management certification / coursework

Financial services

ESG/Sustainability knowledge/exposure
