Assists risk analysts with portfolio analysis and monitoring of transactions

Understands portfolio management and the use of derivatives.

Gathers market information, compile quantitative and qualitative data.

Understands the impact of market price changes on earnings and principles of mark-to-market.

Monitors market prices and validate prices distributed to publication index providers.

Assists front and back-office personnel in the reconciliation of settlement pricing data.

Prepares presentations as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience0-2 years of relevant experience in directly related field.Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:

Strong Excel and quantitative skills.

Risk management or commodity trading experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently and must be well organized.

Required skills: results oriented, adaptive and flexible, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred skills: diplomacy, good presentation skills, ability to receive and provide direction.

Preferred experience: gas, oil or electric scheduler, commodity trading assistance.
