- Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
- Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.
- Develop framework for charge-back (or show-back) reporting model for cloud costs back to product owners
- Identify, recommend, and implement automation to implement cost optimizations
- Maintain, improve and secure company's multi cloud infrastructure and associated processes
- Partner with internal key stakeholders (InfoSec, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud COE, networking) and industry leaders to maintain a current security posture for the cloud services
- 2 years of relevant professional work experience
- Familiar with Cloud capabilities, products and services for Azure, and other Microsoft products and services (i.e. Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Experience consulting with engineering teams on designing and implementing Cloud or Data Center solutions including aspects like compute, network, storage, security, monitoring, automation, and cost optimization
- Experience implementing security controls in cloud, Data Center or hybrid environments
- Understanding of core technologies (i.e. DNS, DHCP, Wireless, Active Directory etc.) and how they integrate in a multi/hybrid cloud environment
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Experience with planning, monitoring, optimization of cloud costs; Azure or multi-cloud experience is a plus
- Experience with industry tools for cloud (or traditional) cost management
- Strong scripting and automation experience; Azure preferable
- Manage and improve the communication between operations and product teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
- Ability to effectively address technical questions/with various audiences, including non-technical teams, at all levels in the organization
- Capacity to drive hands-on technical engagements with the customers and guide them through cloud
- Employ creativity to devise effective and efficient strategies
- Passion for technology, with an ability to understand and assess new technologies, and their potential applicability to business needs in an efficient, effective manner
- Ability to work in an Agile format with stakeholders across multiple organizations to design and implement cloud agnostic solutions
