Title: BI Systems EngineerLocation: Reston, VA Technical Must Haves: BI Tools, Tableau OR MicroStrategySoft Skill Must Haves: Excellent communication is key.Schedule: Standard 40 Hours Job description: The client is seeking a BI Systems Administrator to be responsible for the administration of core systems as well asmonitoring and repair of high-performance computing systems. AWS experience is preferred.Ensures consistent and reliable operation including enterprise servers and network infrastructure.Experience Experience in BI tools Provides wide ranging system administration in a multi-platform (Tableau/MicroStrategy/SAP Business Objects)environment Responsible for general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OSinstallations, security updates, urgent system patching Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources,network disruption awareness and predefined key processes Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware components that are problematic, reviews system logs, applicationlogs and security logs AWS experience in native services possessing and IT platform implementation is preferred Preferred knowledge in designing and developing integrated solution using the AWS services. Experience in JIRA Administration, analysis, and Agile methodologies Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations. Willing to contribute and build, automate and innovate as a team member Specialized: Perform installation, migration and upgrade of Tableau Servers and Desktops under High Availability scenario Perform performance analysis of existing Tableau Servers and make Best Practice recommendations Configure options like SSL, SSO, AD , proxy etc. on the Tableau Server. Provide Level 2 support to user community on various Tableau Server and Desktop issues Excellent understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Load Balancer and Network firewall Nice to have General knowledge of AWS, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence tools Help educate enterprise customers on AWS, and participate and drive Team meetings to track action itemsEducation/Experience: 3-5 years’ of IT experience required Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required Proven work experience as a system or network administrator Technology Ventures is a leading technology services company delivering a broad portfolio of business and technology solutions, along with staff augmentation, to help its clients improve their business performance.
