Job Title: Production Equipment OperatorJob DescriptionOperate production equipment with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and change-over skills. Learn operations of multiple equipment. Work closely with the shipping department to schedule tumbling of landscape units as needed. Monitor and assure quality out of the machine, including height, texture, and moisture. Perform mold cleaning and proper installation. Monitor and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and water systems associated with block production. Remove and inspect cured racks for cull block before the unloading process. Handle block dumpsters when necessary. Perform rack counts and times when the kiln is full. Ensure the steam generator is running on each kiln and monitor temperatures throughout the day. Complete daily pre-trip sheets on the rack truck. Maintain rack truck duties, including greasing and cleaning. Help with block making equipment as needed to maximize production.Hard Skills
