Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team based in Dulles, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining and managing financial records, processing a high volume of data, and ensuring the accuracy of our records. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle a high volume of data entry from bank statements related to payroll, insurance, and workers compensation Utilize Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks for data entry and bookkeeping tasks Maintain and edit pre-entered journal entries to ensure accuracy Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations to maintain financial records Use data migration techniques to transfer data between different systems Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all bookkeeping processes Monitor and resolve customer inquiries as needed Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations Strong bookkeeping skills Proficient in data entry Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks is essential Proven experience in data migration Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
