Description We are looking for a diligent Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, from managing financial records to handling administrative tasks. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the industry of administrative assistance. Responsibilities: Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions using QuickBooks Maintaining a smooth flow of office operations by answering phones, taking messages, and organizing office tasks Managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment Assisting with payroll processing and related entries Maintaining professional and respectful communication with all internal and external stakeholders Ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and other professional standards in all interactions Managing a high volume of customer traffic while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency Handling customer inquiries promptly and professionally Ensuring all office duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner Engaging in regular interaction with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining customer relationships. Requirements Must be proficient in QuickBooks Administrative assistance experience is necessary Should have excellent organizational skills Must be capable of managing financial records and creating financial reports Ability to handle payroll tasks efficiently Demonstrated ability to manage office supplies and inventory Proven experience in managing office facilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Must be capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks Proven experience in maintaining a high level of accuracy in detailed work Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision Should have proven experience in managing and maintaining budgets Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information Experience in customer service would be beneficial Should be capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
