Customer service in a retail used and rare bookstore in Charlottesville.

Greet and assist customers

Use POS (Square)

Use a Macintosh for email, making labels, updating database

Clean, package and shelve inventory (a lot of alphabetizing)

Must be able to stand 8 hours and lift 30 lbs (box of books)

Attention to detail essential

No allergies to mold or dust

Interest in reading of some sort

At least some college necessary

Three 5 hour evening shifts per week; which nights are negotiable but once schedule is set you must stick to it

Some bookstore or library experience is preferred but not essential.
