Primary Responsibilities:
Financial Services Budget Analyst shall support all aspects of developing, executing, and monitoring budgets (both for internal needs, and for developing and executing the National Intelligence Program (NIP) Budget. Job Responsibilities:•Conduct budget analysis of financial data calls and portfolio reviews.•Development and evaluation of fiscal program builds.•Develop spend plans, tracking spending and execution, documenting financial commitments, obligations, and expenses.•Draft inputs to the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB) to Congress.•Support the production of the CBJB NIP related sections. •Assess IC budget for balance across functions and disciplines. •Collect and analyze data for financial data calls and portfolio reviews. •Develop strategic program briefs. •Participate in the Intelligence Planning, Programming, Budget, and Evaluation (IPPBE).•Contribute and produce talking points, briefs, products, reports, congressionally directed actions, and mandated reports pertaining to budgets and through large interagency forums and working groups. •Work with USG and IC partners through large interagency forums and working groups. •Record and track interagency agreements for facilitating Economy Act and other financial transactions. •Track legislation that may impact budget. •Support budget formulation efforts. •Prepare and process transactions, ensuring payments are certified. •Develop financial standard operating procedures (SOPs). •Develop fiscal guidance and implementation schedules for each budget phase for review and acceptance. •Develop cost benefit trade-offs and investment strategies. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
