Able to understand the business process. 2. This person needs to be comfortable coming in 3 days a week on site (no expectations). Must have Jira, Confluence and Agile experience. Develop user stories and agile sprints.3. Must be able to transform business requirements into technical solutions. Being comfortable understanding vendor road maps. Will be communicating with vendors / developers. Some PM experience would be a great bonus. Key Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the Director of Project Management:• Coordinates and leads business process analysis meetings in all departments of Navy Mutual. Uses data flow charts to document, define, and analyze current business practices; recommend and implement modifications as needed.• Evaluates business functions, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.• Apply detailed knowledge of business workflows gained through the business interviews and scoping to the product enhancements. Be a change agent who can work with internal teams to drive process improvements in an agile development environment.• Assists in overall definition of system requirements to meet functional business needs for Navy Mutual; documents existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models.• Executes requirements management, including planning, collection, analysis, validation, communication and documentation in Jira and Confluence. • Work with developers and QA to refine user stories, features and assist with rapid user feedback on a team using an outside-in development methodology.• Work within an Agile framework to deliver product in sprints or hybrid sprints. Work with development team to prioritize and monitor work using Scrum or Kanban. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.• Works closely with business users, technical resources, and developers to provide production support by analyzing system issues or defects, coordinating data fixes, and recommending, implementing, and coordinating solutions.• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment/systems capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results; such improvements may include hardware, software, or non-technical modifications to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency within Navy Mutual Aid Association.• Creates and implements business process standards and procedures; evaluates industry wide standards. Develops methods and tools to track and measure results; performs research activities on industry trends, business products; analyze trends and is responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations.
