VEGA IS HIRING! Actively searching for a Business Architect for a contract-to-hire position with our direct client in the DC area. This is an exciting project that will assist and lead solutions across a major organization. This is a contract-to-hire role. Please note: client will not sponsor. Only eligible candidates need apply. This role will interview and start remotely. Once it is deemed safe to return to the office, consultant will be expected to work on-site. Client can be somewhat flexible (50/50% on site/remote). This role will develop, maintain, and utilize architecture models – including value streams, business capability models, information maps, operational scenarios, and ecosystem models – to describe FEPOC’s current and target state business architecture. This role will also perform diagnostics / assessment of value streams and business capabilities. Document, score and prioritize gaps and opportunities, as well as the health and maturity of associated people, process and technology enablers.Must haves:• 10+ years of relevant experience in business / enterprise architecture, strategy-to-execution, or enterprise transformation / modernization programs.• Working knowledge and experience with one or more architecture modeling tools.• Effective communication skills and ability to engage with / influence business and technology stakeholders at all levels. Experience and Skills (Preferred)• Expertise / experience applying business architecture as prescribed by the Business Architecture Guild’s BIZBOK.
