We are building a sales team of star team players that kill individualgoals. The team will consist of hungry high achievers that are self-motivated and exceed expectations.Asabusiness developmentrepresentative, you will be the “tip-of-the-spear” initiating new relationshipsvia email,outbound calling,connecting with inbound leadsandreaching out tochannel relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Help create and commit to a go-to-market prospecting plan for digital commerce, marketing, marketplace, and UX servicesin coordination with Marketing and other Sales Team Members.

  • Create and executetacticaloutreach plans via email, phone calls and social media(LinkedIn)by managing and creating campaigns in OutReach.io.

  • Closely followMcFadyenmarketing activities and leadsto follow up with participants.

  • Follow up withinbound leads and qualify opportunitiesinto Sales Qualified Leads.

  • Schedule meetings between SQLs and Field Reps to engage prospects into Sales Cycle.

  • Manageand maintainaccountsand contactsin CRM.

  • Pitchour professional services,which include digital strategy,ecommerce,marketplace solutions, experience design, platform implementation, application development, and support.

  • Support our marketing team’s efforts tocreatecompelling sales collateral and campaigns.

  • Establish,develop,and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

  • Achieve agreed upon targets and outcomes within schedule.

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

  • Follow sales processes and trackactivities in CRM.

  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

  • Continuously improve through feedback. 

  • Consume, absorb, and apply training, assigned reading, and coaching.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a business development rep (BDR) (Inside Sales)or equivalent role in a professional organization.
  • Track record of exceedinggoals.

  • Familiarity with CRM practicesand keeping adetailed activity log that will be used to inform the next stages of the pipeline.

  • Ability to manage contact lists in CRM.

  • Ability to build productive business/professional relationships.

  • Abilitytowrite persuasive emailsubject lines and emails.

  • Ability to create persuasive call scripts.

  • Ability togain access toprospectivecompanies and connect with internal decision makers.

  • Ability toaddress objections, analyze your responses, and find optimal, more effective ways of addressing objections.

  • Excellent communication andrelationshipskills.

  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.

  • Relationship management skills.

  • Openness to feedbackand coaching.

  • Familiaritywith eCommerce platforms like Oracle Commerce / ATG / Endeca, Magento Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud /Demandware, SAP Hybris, IBM WebSphere Commerce, Mirakl, etc. a plus.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Officeand Outlook.

  • Familiarity with Outreach platform a plus.
