Role: Capture ManagerLocation: Leesburg, VA. Remote work for up to 3 days a weekPosition Type: Full Time
Looking for a mid-level capture manager at our Leesburg, VA office to help us with capturing opportunities, establishing relationships, identifying teaming partners, supporting all phases of proposal development efforts. This position plays a key role in between business development and proposal writing to greatly enhance the chances of closing the sale. You will collaborate to develop a pipeline, create relationship management strategy, develop overall solution and strategy, approach to performing the work, win themes and discriminators.- Create, identify, develop, and qualify opportunities that align to the company's strategic campaigns that result in meaningful and measurable revenue growth.
- Support a business pursuit, provide the leadership, coordination, resource allocation, strategy, and management needed to prepare the winning bid.
- Provide revenue cycle leadership to acquisition project teams to ensure charge capture and billing needs are met.
- Achieve acquisition and sales goals through winning new business, contract recompetes, teaming, and organic program growth.
- Develop and maintain an active strategic growth plan, and the associated pipeline, in alignment and consistent with corporate campaign strategy and goals.
- Research and collaborate on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions.
- Writes clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections.
- Translates technical and other ideas into easily understandable text
- Rewrites and reviews proposal sections and related proposal documents.
- Assists with the completion of a high-quality, on-time proposal response.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as liberal arts, communications, and HR
- Must have at least 6 years of capture management, and proposal development experience supporting federal civilian sector.
- Must have enough technical and/or financial knowledge to influence solution development.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
- Ability to surge work schedule to meet proposal schedule demands
- The ability to adhere to proposal development, review, and production schedules through strong time management.
- The ability to understand, use, and modify common Proposal Management templates to include proposal outlines, schedules, past performance, color team reviews and review briefs etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Word skills strongly desired (e.g., document formatting, table manipulation, line spacing, header numbering through Word styles, etc.)
- Must have strong commitment and great work ethic.
