If you have a passion for managing complex change initiatives and ensuring seamless delivery of solutions, this role is for you.HOW A CHANGE/RELEASE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Developing and implementing change and release management strategies that minimize risk and ensure successful deployment of new features and updates.
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of changes and releases across multiple environments, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and minimizing disruption to operations.
Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive change and release management process, including documentation, scheduling, risk assessment, impact analysis, and communication.
Collaborating with development, QA, operations, and support teams to ensure all changes and releases are well-documented, thoroughly tested, and properly implemented.
Leading Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review, approve, and prioritize changes and releases, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Monitoring and reporting on change and release activities, providing status updates, metrics, and post-implementation reviews to stakeholders.
Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with changes and releases, ensuring that all necessary controls are in place and compliance requirements are met.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing change and release management processes and implementing best practices.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
5+ years of experience in change and release management within a technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework, particularly in Change Management, Release Management, and Service Transition.
Proven experience in coordinating and managing complex releases across multiple environments and teams.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with release management and version control tools, such as Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ITIL v4 certification or equivalent in Change and Release Management.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Remedy.
Strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with changes and releases.
Experience in environments with strict data integrity, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience managing releases in cloud-based environments.
Experience in developing and delivering training and documentation related to change and release management processes.
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
