Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Chief Engineer. This is contingent upon award and this position will require travel to out of state locations : CA, AZ, and NJ. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for delivering contracted services to the Naval Digital Integration Support Cell (NDISC) located in Arlington, VA. The scope of this effort is to assists the Department of Navy (DoN) in the acceleration and transformation to a digital and data driven organization to deliver and sustain overarching digital products. NDISC designs and delivers authoritative data environments and tools (the "Digital Platform) for the Navy and United States Marine Corps (USMC) Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), readiness, and Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) in order to develop architectures, models, analysis, and decision tools leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (Client), and analytics in support of digital pilots, prototypes, and experiments with the Fleet. DSA will assist NDISC in the goal of meeting the vision of the DoN in the transformation of these digital products.The Chief Engineer should have the following experience:Required:Twelve plus years' experience in Navy OperationsEight years' of experience as Chief Engineer for Systems Engineering and Integration within original equipment manufacturer (OEM) industryCurrent knowledge of AEGIS, SSDS, LCS, and VICS to include design, architectures, and operational applicationExperience conducting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Systems of System (SoS) Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Process for a Navy key programDemonstrated oral and written communication skills required, with experience briefing executive personnelPreferred:Twenty plus years' experience in Navy Operations.MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET CLEARANCE; this will be verified prior to interview.
