HII Mission Technologies is actively seeking Electrical and Civil Engineering candidates to join our awesome IPS team! As one of our Engineers, you will work with a great collaborative team performing engineering design functions for our US Navy Ships! This position is located in Hampton, VA at our NET Center! This is a full time position working on site in the office. Once fully trained, remote work is an option.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Evaluate specifications of new equipment to be installed shipboard and create schematics and blueprints to ensure structure is in place to achieve objective.
  • Civil Engineers will be required to know how to design schematics and blueprints of structural engineering solutions
  • Electrical Engineers will require the ability to design schematics and blueprints of electrical wiring solutions

Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
  • Engineering degree in civil or electrical engineering
  • 3D or 2D Autocad
  • Autocad Inventor
  • Solidworks
  • US Citizen

Preferred Requirements

  • US Navy facilities experience
  • SSTG Experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • PE License
  • PMP

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
