Seeking a Cloud Configuration Manager with an Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) Clearance.

Must be local to DC/Maryland/VAResponsibilities:
  • Develop knowledge of the program's functional capabilities including system and derived requirements. Understand how individual components effect the requirements.
  • Ability to monitor and manage cloud costs across several environments and dozens of systems.
  • Understanding of the requirements gathering process and how to onboard new customers or functionality.
  • Work with customer teams to acquire and manage software.
  • Collaborate with team leads to plan and manage requirements.
  • Manage system requirements to achieve epic goals.
  • Update systems engineering artifacts including but not limited to: ConOps, Requirements Analysis, User Guides, and System View & Architecture Diagrams
  • Development and maintenance of program architectural diagrams
  • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
  • Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
Core Qualifications:
    • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must currently possess an active Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain a Polygraph post hire
  • Significant experience as a Configuration Manager using tools such as Git, Jenkins and Nexus
  • Proven experience managing multiple baselines across multiple environments
  • Understanding of AWS/Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe development methodologies
  • Experience with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
  • Creation of Version Description Documents (VDDs)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies
  • Experience acquiring software and associated management of licenses
  • Experience optimizing AWS capabilities balancing Cost and Performance
  • Experience establishing or significantly improving an existing CM system and process
  • Experience leading Engineering Review Boards and Change Management
  • Experience improving and auditing deployment processes
  • Understand CM / SE process for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life
